has anyone seen the DVD release of "The Secret" ?? Its a fantastic portrail of the Law Of Attraction ! It is a must see program -some fantastic insights from some amazing people from authors to viosionary's to metaphysisists - (excuse spelling)... interested to read anyones views on it  worth a look! Here are a series of my opinions - take them for what you paid for them, eh?  Number 1: Anything that brings to light the fact that our positive thinking can and will change our life for the better is AOK with me. We need more uplifting and encouraging messages in this world at this time! Number 2: This information hasn't been a secret really. The Law of Attraction has been information out there in the Metaphysical community for at least 20 years. (The incredibly wonderful writings of Catherine Ponder and the Teachings of Abraham as given by Ester Hicks most notably.) It's reaching mainstream America now which is fabulous!! Number 3: The Secret does a bit of a disservice in that it is not going far and deep enough in helping others to change their lives in a LONG LASTING way. Anyone's life will show a difference within it the instant they start focusing upon it (and I do mean instantly!) The status quo, especially in this western society, is to distract us as completely as possible AWAY from our lives because we are afraid to really look at the personal responsibility for what we create within them. So, you watch "The Secret" and get groovy on the thing, and it works...for a little while. But then, after 3, 4, 5 months life just kind of slips back into the old patterns, the chocolate flows and you're back doing Couch Voting for American Idol. Why? Because the change was coming from the outside, in. And that means that you are allowing outside messages to change your life. The real secret of changing your life in a lasting way is to begin to meditate and clean up your mind with its long held erroneous beliefs, wrong thinking and destructive attitudes which create the behaviours that keep us mired in our pain and suffering and reaching out for those distractions to get a little relief. Why does anything (manifestation, diets, supplements etc) work? Because we change the core beliefs about our relationship to money/health etc, not because the diet or supplement is particularly great. Bottom line: it works because we get once-and-for-all sick and tired of the excuses we continually feed ourselves about why it can't. This is real change...change from the inside out. Sooooo....kudos and awsomeness for the fact that this information is getting out there in some fashion in a mainstream way. But, don't stop there!! Take it deeper and you will discover the real secrets of who you truly are and how magnificent your life can *really* be, and then watch your world change in a manner that will touch your life and those around you in authentic, powerful and long lasting ways!!! GO FORTH AND BE AWSOME! |

I like the fact that it does suggest that this idea goes way way back,
and for what is an easy viewing "I get It" package for those who arent as free with their minds, I found
it a fantastic way to boast the work with my clients.
By the way, heres a DVD of the secret of life! along with smile and a look into their eyes, has been a wonderfully powerful machine for me.
of course we can all tear it apart break it down etc, I pointed out on their site that the "Visualize" part was actually too vague.
(association and so on)!
what i think is clever about this program is that, youre right, it is no secret really, yet from a marketing point of veiw it
really works! I actually believe that most people who knew and lived by this secret didnt even know how they did it!
thats why the advice, even now is still vague about teaching those learnings.
One of the strongest auditory anchors ever has been "I know a Secret" !!
Its so powerful because humans have this amazing desire to want information especially if it is exclusive!
The idea alone is too much not to ask about it. Clever marketing! Again wether that was intended or not is another subject

Oh, mein GOTT yes!!! That marketing team should receive laurels into the next century if for no other reason than the sound of the collective V-8 forehead slapping heard round the world by all of us who cried out in our anguish, "I WISH I'D THOUGHT OF THAT!!"  but, eh...  It's all happening, and we're right in the middle of it.

There is in fact another DVD release which came earlier than The Secret - its called
"What The Bleep Do We Know"
Its very similar in its structure, drags the metaphors out a bit, but very science based
and some great graphics explaining the chemistry etc..
how when cells divide they take on the blue print of previous chemical experiences, two fold, and so on.
it is a must see !
It also goes into the explaination of the water crystals which were photographed under a micro scope
having had different words expressed to the water. As water is apparently the most receptive element to thoughts.
the pictures are wonderful!
Check it out -(its a Canadian production) released internationally.

I agree with Larry, "What the bleep" goes into more detail on the physics and neuro-physiology. I've been also voraciously reading for the past 4 months, Sandra Ann Taylor (Quantum Success), Abraham, & vintage Deepak Chopra. The Secret is like a trailer & hopefully a "hook" that others will start to look into (literally & figuratively).
Also highly recommend going to Hayhouse.com and register for Hayhouse radio - where there's a wealth of info in the archives.

I too agree that the secret DVD and audio book are a must for the library of any individual looking to improve their existence. I also endorse hayhouseradio.com.....extremely fabulous wealth of information. Anything by Wayne Dyer should be downloaded for indulgence...Happy downloading

ohhhh "Down the rabit hole" 3 has my full attention now! Check it out on DVD if the chance arises.
Its the follow up interviews to "What the Bleep..."
If youre into science based debates this is awesome !!!!
Its one to watch over and over too in order to catch some genius explanations!

Loving "down the Rabit hole" DVDs at the moment - (continued from "What the bleep") Quantum physics is sooo cool- loving how nothing acually touches, and waves & partical possible locations etc... its spun my head around recently though because Ive begun to try to think about things that havent been thought yet. its a real challenge but some strange things have been happening from head tingling to curious eye contact from strangers. I like thinking about an idea that humans have a scale or boundary of sensory scope which spreads out much wider in reality. Like colour has a spetrum and sound has a range of frequencies. I often wonder about humans expanding that range until evolution one day develops the possibility that those sences expand out to other frequencies. There is a point in which colour meets sound, so imagine being able to hear colour, and see sound ! This thought often has me smiling How cool would that experience be !! (or am i just late night waffling? love Larry |
