hello!
I work with my patients on their back pain and aches of every sorts and... they often start telling me about what stresses them out in their life, or about disturbing events etc. The thing I realize most often though, is that they don't plan on doing anything about it... they just say it to vent I suppose, but it makes me feel like I should do something to help them... most of the time, I hit a wall with people thinking it is impossible to change a situation for a million reasons... and then I just give up because I don't want to annoy them with ideas like "you can have what you want" if obviously they don't want ... and of course they came to see me for their backache, not for coaching, so maybe it is not my place to do that (especially that I have not been trained for coaching!

)...
I would like to know what kind of approach I can use with patients like that, or if I should just listen and agree with the "I've always been like that, I am not going to change" attitude...
also, I live in switzerland and I would love to get some good coaching education somewhere in europe (or USA online course?)... any good program that you guys know of? does michael neill have a coaching program?
thank you for reading!
