Hi everyone, thanks for taking the time to read this post. I am currently experiencing a problem which basically involves me worrying about a problem that doesn't really exist. The reason i am stuck in this crazy way of thinking is that i 'believe' if i don't think about it, something 'bad' will happen. So im worrying about it happening and getting myself in a right old panic! I have 2 exams next week and understand this is definetely not the best frame of mind to be in before those! What i am looking for is a way to be at peace with my problem and myself. Any suggestions would be gratefully received. Thanks, Rikki

I'm just going to throw in an idea from one of Michael's books and you can do with it what you want. Try asking the question 'What would you do if you weren't afraid?'.

I guess the answer doesn't really have to 'exist' since the problem doesn't exist! Tongue

Here are some things I've heard Michael or other Hay House authors suggest:

find your volume knob and turn down the voice of the worry.

"hush" the worry as if you would a baby. sometimes I'll even picture tucking it in a baby bed.

ask the worry what it's message is and how to let it go.

get some fresh air and exercise. do anything that gets you moving around a bit and outside of your head.
sometimes the change of scenery, gets your mind to let the worry go, or find a solution.

Good luck!

Let us know how you do.
