"What the *bleep* Do We Know?" Cool
- Rent or buy this breakthrough indie film that offers fascinating information about quantum physics, our brain, our surroundings, and beyond. It is sure to motivate you and challenge your perceptions of "reality".

"An Inconvenient Truth" Shocked
-Al Gore's "slide show" that offers both frightening and enlightening facts about global warming, the fragile state of our planet, and what we must do to help. Absolutely everyone should see this film.

I still remember coming back from a Francois Truffaut film festival in NYC and sneaking in to a late night showing of 'Back to the Future' at my local cinema.  I wound up writing the producers a letter congratulating them on making a 'real' movie!  Cheesy

Here's a 'movies I can watch again and again' rather than 'top ten' list:

*King of Hearts w/Alan Bates and Genvieve Bujold

*Back to the Future w/Michael J. Fox

*Old Yeller

*Stripes w/Bill Murray (the 1st half - up to and including the 'Old Yeller' reference)

*Meatballs w/Bill Murray

*The Matrix

*Superstar w/Molly Shannon

*Singing in the Rain w/Gene Kelly and Debbie Reynolds

I kept looking for another worthy or arty one to add to my list, but for the moment they're escaping me... Huh

Certainly the first Matrix

Terminator 1 was a great idea for a movie

Not sure life would be the same without The Jungle Book

The classic Ealing comedy The Ladykillers

Every time I watch Blazing Saddles I laugh all over again

I was surprsied at how much I enjoyed Citizen Kane

This year I enjoyed Corpse Bride

That just reminded me that when I first started coaching in the early 90's, this was one of the first questions I asked all new clients - because I am a real film buff, it both told me alot of useful 'mindread' information about both values and aspirations and gave a quick piece of content for 'instant rapport'.  Plus, I got to see alot of great films that I'd never seen before!  Cool

Hi everyone

My favorite films are:

Harold and Maude (a definite #1, I love everything about this film!)
Groundhog Day (can watch this over and over, love the film and the message)
The Big Chill  (great cast, great music, love it)
American Beauty (I loved the message in this one too, couldn't imagine people actually walking out of the theatres which many many people did!!)
sex lies and videotape (sticks with me)
Rat Race (lots of laughs, great fun!)
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (I only saw this in the theatre and was completely blown away, what a great movie to see at the theatre!!  I wonder how good it is on video)

Part of my Hypnotherapy Diploma included homework which was to watch Disney's The Kid. Great film about a man who is for want of a better phrase, up his own arse who gets a visit from his younger self who he has to help to get back to his own time. Lovely story.

Anne!  You are the only person that I have met (well sort of met anyways...) that has seen The Big Blue.  What a fantastic movie that was!

I have a list of my favorite movies, but I'm a filmmaker so it's tough for me to decide.  It also depends on what kind of a mood I am in.

Probably my favorites of all time are:

Glory
Shawshank Redemption
The Sixth Sense
50 First Dates
Amelie
Sleeper (by Woody Allen)
Big Night
The Brotherhood of the Wolf
Bullets over Broadway
It's a Wonderful Life
Kung Fu Hustle
Moulin Rouge!
Planes, Tranes, and Automobiles
The Razor's Edge
Shine
Spaceballs
Swingers
oh and last but not surely not least...  The Fifth Element!

oh those are just a few of my favs...  Some I like for the acting and feeling you get when you watch them.  Some I like for the fun of them... there's just so many good ones.

Oh yeah!  I can't not mention:  Indiana Jones 1 and 3... and all 4 Harry Potter films (I love the books too Smiley)

Hi

Here are my favourites.

Bulletproof Monk with Chow Yun-Fat
The Matrix
Spiderman
Batman begins
Equilibrium
Toy story
Dead poet’s society
Good will hunting
Enter the dragon
Mind benders, Uri Geller’s, life story, for an independent film it’s pretty good.
Sidekicks Chunk Norris
Flight of the navigator
Tron
Déjà vu.. New films watched it yesterday well worth seeing

The secret, it’s an ok film, if you are new to personal development type programmers, then it would be well worth watching, yet if you are a fan of people like Wayne Dyer, and Deepak Chopra, Our very own Michael Neil, then they are using the same creation technologies, to tap in to the abundance stream.

Three men and a baby
Back to the future 1-2and 3
Sliding Doors
What the Beep quantum physics
Any film with Jackie Chan
K-PAX
PAY IT FORWARD

Cheers to the Officespace mention!

There's a tie for all-time favorite between The Big Lebowski and Fast Times at Ridgemont High.  I'm also a big fan of the entire John Hughes suite of '80s flicks and the arthouse film of yore, Hillary and Jackie.
