I have worked on many Jingles for a on-line radio, how we gernally make the jingles is using the pc, recording with Sony Sound Forge, which you can manipulate a lot, and add music to, remove any stutters or mistakes. We have found it a very good piece of software, and we produce very good jingles from it. We dont go to expense on the microphones as long as they are jack plugs and not usb port ones. I am by no means as technical as some people are on the forum, this is just doing it the laymans way and producing great results without too much complexity.

If there is no group out there, there is no harm setting one up yourself Easy to get the information out there, set up a coffee morning evening type thing maybe, get others in contact with each other... I used to set up support groups for new mothers years ago, though at the time my children were already in nursery or at school, i would give the maternity unit the dates and times and location of each of my coffee groups, an dthey would pass the details onto new moms. People were asked to call me in advanced so i would have a idea of how many people would arrive, once the group got to know each other i would encourage them to host a coffee morning in their home and everyone then to go there. After a few weeks i would then almost let them get on with their own organisation and they would then have a new group of friends who was in similar circumstance and i would then be setting up a new group of moms who had recently given birth. It used to work out brilliant and these mothers seemed to make lasting friendships from these groups, going onto family get togethers, trips out etc. Good luck Hugs Michelle Im singing in the rain, just singing in the rain, what a glorious feeling im happy......

Genius Catalyst / Michael's Coaching Tips / Re: Michael's wife's shipping business
|
on: May 17, 2007, 04:01:15 AM
|
Hi ya new girl, welcome to the forum Drop shipping has been going on for a long time now and is popular amoungst the e-bayers of this world. With most drop shipping companies, you dont hold the stock, you sale a item of stock for the company ie on e-bay or via a web site, you then either place the sale with the drop shipping company for that oreder and they send it out and you get a certain amount of money for the sale, or if you are doing it through a web site that is a front page linking people to the drop shippers company web site, then the order will automatically go through to the drop shipping company and then you will get your money either way. A lot of drop shipping companies work from the respect when you have earnt a certain amount of money with them, they will post a cheque or pay via paypal to you. One thing to bear in mind, its not easy to make money from selling on line, as so many people are trying to do it, there is huge competition. If you think about having your own web site built, make sure that the person who is building it really knows what they are doing, its one thing to have a web site made and its another thing to have a very productive web site made. So many people know how to build web sites, what they dont know how to do is to get them found with ease by the search engines, without having to pay anything or costing a fortune in advertising. I would always say that web site developers need to put their money where their mouth is, so to speak, they need to make sure that the web site works out in the big cyber world. You can have the best looking site and get no hits. Some drop shippers will deliver stock to you as well, and then you sale it normally on line. Instead of the company sending it out to the buyer they send it to you and you forward it on. I hope this has helped in some respects. Feel free to ask anymore questions Hugs Michelle We all live in a yellow submarine, a yellow submarine

HI Mark, Regarding writing a review on Amazon, if you when you found the item you are looking for click on that item, you will see a lot more written detail about the product and also generally a review or several, there is a "write a review" highlighted option on that page where th eother reviews are, if there is no reviews just keep lookin on that page and i would say scroll down about a screen size and you will normally find it. Genius Catalyst / This, That and the Other / Brain Waves, Meditation & Cures
|
on: May 10, 2007, 07:13:43 AM
|
Ok my brain is hurting I have been reading about meditation / brain waves etc. I am trying to type this all down so it makes sense.... When someone mediates, within a few mins they relax, their breathing slows down and their heartbeat slows down. Their bodies have a decreased oxygen level, and their metabolic rate drops, this is all refered to as a "hypometabolic state" For someone to achieve the lowest oxyegen level in sleep can take from 4-6 hours, but whilst it takes someone who is meditating only a few mins to reach this level, people whom are meditating normally drop to a level twice as low as the sleeping people. One thing that has been researched many times, is that when in the deep "hypometabolic state" the body works at its most powerful rate at healing it self... People who have been meditating for years at this level are not only generally more relaxed, more healthy and generally look younger for their age. So we know meditating to this level heals and it heals very well, and if practised frequently it can be a very good preventative measure against illness, let alone if a person takes up mediation when they have found out they are ill, it can work wonders for the recovery rate. Now trying to keep this on track,...... A lot of research goes into the stimulation of the brain waves to produce different states of mind, i have tried to say that as openly as possible as there is various different experiments on going to see what can be done. Now if a person can have their brain coaxed into a "hypometabolic state" using different methods of something to trigger the brain waves, ie magnets... then where can this be taken? Most of what i read regarding this, is focused around curing insomniacs. But there is some research in other areas. I have literally 100's of questions about all of this. Firstly if a machine ect can do this to the brain, can it teach the brain to do it for itself so the machine will not have to be used? People who have cured themself of terminal illness like cancer, a huge part of this group of people have achieved this through meditation.... so what if a brain wave machine can influence the brain to achieve the best possible state for a body to heal itself and therefore may achieve cures for a whole host of terrible illnesses like cancer etc? Can this be done? is anyone reasrching it? I had a interesting conversation when i was in American recently, when discussing NLP and so forth with a group of friends. The subject of termial illnesses came up, i said to my friends that i firmly believe that the cure for cancer etc is not out there, but i feel its inside us. We hold the answer to cure ourselves, but the cancer industry is a million dollar industry that is a drug one, if the answer was simple like being able to achieve a very deep medative state, then where would these large drug compaines be? (if i disappear from the face of the earth look for me in the drug companies safe, where i am sure i will be brainwashed into thinking my ideas were dumb) If you look into the studies of Robert Keith Wallace and how meditation was working wonders with peoples addictions, illnesses and ageing. Then you have the findings of French immunologist Jacques Benveniste, who discovered that cells hold memories and even more surprising that cells can hold the memory of something that was there and is no longer there, giving the body the reaction of something present when it is not ... the results of this experiment were published in 1988 issue of the Brisish Jouranl Nature. Jacques was so shocked with the results of his experiment that he insisted that other reaserch teams across the globe tried the same experiment and they all came back with the same findings. Now i am going to try to tie both in together... now if deep meditive state can achieve so much, then i am certain that the cure for virtually all is there, and the fact that the body comes back into its natrual line there. There is a lot of research on vibrational forces that surround us and many people are out of sync with these vibrations as well. So can the three be tied together? Vibration forces, the fact that cells have memories and mediatation.... now if you can then bring them under the roof with nlp as well, i have to wonder how powerful not only how deep meditation works, but if that is applied with hypnosis / nlp and a person is commanded to reach their perfect vibration state that works in harmony with their body as well as realigning their cell structure so it knows what it should be doing as well......... Or have i totally lost the plot altogether I would love to hear everyones views on this, so please let me know what you think. Hugs Michelle Many of the truths we cling to depend greatly upon our own point of view... Obi Wan

HI ya Aniinl Just like the track by Nickelback "Feeling way too damn good" and the lyrics "Coz something's gotta go wrong Coz I'm feeling way to dam good" ...... Sometimes things feel so good your waiting for the bubble to burst or to find out what the catch is, something cannot be that good, or can it? Doubt is a very powerful nagging voice that seems to be in the mind, just yabbering away, so you can thrown the relationship away lose all the good times and the happy moments just when its going so good your expecting something bad to happen, or you can sit back enjoy the ride and turn that nagging voice into " I feel Good, so good, so good i got you" Yunno some of the most wonderful things in life can happen when you shut the negative up, give it sylvester cats voice and then tell yourself that your wonderful...... Love Michelle (off dancing round the bedroom now to James brown and I FEEL GOOD) I am not totally crazy..... some bits are missing

A few weeks ago i read a amazing book Mutant Messages Down Uunder By Marlo Morgan, this was a book i could not put down and read in 2 days, totally encaptured in the story. Its a American ladies account of how she spent a four month walk with a remote tribe of nomadic Aboriginals, what she learnt from them and their way of life which is very different to how we live, see, feel, think. A truley remarkable book that is very well written. One of the greatest books i have read and i will read again and always recommend others to read.
Namaste

Genius Catalyst / This, That and the Other / Re: Healing
|
on: May 03, 2007, 06:15:26 AM

Hi ya Neil, I have spent the past few months reading several healing books from Indian methods to Abourigine ones, and i am enjoying enourmously what i am learning... One thing i am convinced of, its not really the method thats being applied to the client that works, its the clients belief system that its going to work., i could literally type pages on this subject as right now i am am full to popping on it. My book case has increased near double the volume of books with me buying ones on healing, i am still learning a lot. Someone asked me the other day when will i stop studying and i said never, there is so much to learn and there are so many ways in which you can apply these methods but one thing i will always come back to, is the belief system. I am now totally convinced that anything is possible, there is no impossible when it comes to healing people. I feel it will only be a matter of years before we see less of the scapel being used and more hypnosis /healing /nlp being used. I think you only have to look into how many people have cured themselves from incurable disease and diasabilities to knwo the possibilities are out there and the anwers are actually within ourselves. For every question i look for a answer i end up with another 100 questions...... The truth is in there Good luck and be curious, its only through curiosity that some of the biggest answers are found. Michelle

Conversations ~ freedom is Everything & Love Is All The Rest ~ Dr Richard Bandler andOwen Fitzpatrick Ok I am married to this book, i love it, i think its beautifully written, i love its style and content, i am now on my 3 rd going through it, though this time i am more of diving in here and there. I have quoted to several people lines from this book. Yes its NLP, but though you can learn from it i just adore the pure beauty of it, delivered from the heart, i feel that Owen has done a awesome job in writing a book that i feel i will always treasure. This is by far my fave book that sits with me in the car (cause i have to wait in parking spaces a lot) and in my bedroom. A book for enpowerment, understanding, learning, and so heartwarming. If you have not got it yet, you need to get hold of a copy, i had mine for some time before i actually started to read it, now i am in love with it. Owen if you ever come on here, Well Done, the book is amazing, it captures, the heart and the soul, and yes i learn from it 5 out of 5 brilliant writing

The Way Of The Peaceful Warrior By Dan Millman I have just finished reading this book, which also has been written into a film. I know its not NLP, but there is a lot of resembulance thoughout the book, so many common dominators, about how a Old Warrior teaches and nutures a man thoughout many years of his life, teaching him how to turn the noise of in his head, shutting up the mind and using his brain. The teachings show how to trust your inner instinct, how to laugh at the world, how to listen to what someone is literally saying and how to make achievements. This is all based on one guys tales of his learnings and his journey through life, the hardships and the happiness. Including the old warrior taking him on many journeys which can be translated as hypnotic trips. A very interesting read, not everyone will like it, but i think it has its very good points and some weak ones. It must have been reasonablily good as i found that i read it within 24 hours. I would give it out of 5

In some respects i feel ashamed to admit this but i have a phobia. I have found myself back to square one, i was supposed to be at a friends this weekend in jersey, after a short 2 hour flight. Why am i not there? cause i never got on the plane. I was supposed to fly out this am, but last night i panicked and cancelled. I am fed up with this controlling my life, i am fed up with having to take so many drugs when i fly that i lose a lot of my memory from at least 24 hours after taking the drugs as the amount of sedatives i need to take before boarding a plane is huge. I have had quiet a few people with a great amount of nlp experience work with me on this phobia, i have also had TFT and EFT done. i just keeping asking myself why thats when i have stop the other internal dialouge of me arguing with myself that i should know better. I am stunned that i am sat here and not at my friends. There has to be a way, there has to be a answer. i want to be able to think of going away as something to look forward to, not look at it with panic as i think of the flights. I have had enough.
I am open to all views
