Hi

This idea just jumped in to my mind, that you might consider, you could consider making a miniature piece, and sending it to the guy as a thank you for his interest, this will remind him of your workmanship, and as the piece is a gift, as the potential of opening a relationship.

Hi Neil

How about this for a quick observation, about being human, you say, that you don’t always do your best, well maybe just maybe you do, from this point of view you do and are doing your best in that moment, in relation to the energy and state of consciousness you are in, at that time.

253  Genius Catalyst / Michael's Coaching Tips / Re: Excellence on: March 28, 2007, 06:07:41 AM
Hi Chris

Excellence in many ways a structure of comparisons, as there as to be a bench mark to work from, yet as Excellence is based in an internal mapping, the criteria that people look for, may well be very different for what I look for, so having access to a higher ordering set of beliefs, that open up the capabilities, that allows a level of flexibility that leads to knowing that where ever we are now, in any give skill level, is our current bench mark, now when we do the job of looking out at what others are able to do, as apposed to what are able to do at this time, can be a deflating personal mandate that gets in our way, as we become overly self conscious, that steps on and in the way of our more functional capabilities, yet on the other hand it can lead to a catalyst that brings out the very best in our selves, that allows use to use “news of difference” as a way to catapult use to higher levels in being able to make finer and finer distinctions that allows use to master a particular skill set.

As one way of looking at how we capture excellence, is knowing that we have to start somewhere, as knowing that through time and experience  we can only get more and more streamlined in that skill.

Yes consciousness uses language to name ideas, concepts and processes, the create and solidify experience, labels are needed for many, many things, like fire and pain, yet the ego and the way it as been used in the filed of psychology, as in many ways created a none entity, that as created a way for people to not take personal responsibility for their own well being.

So by striping away un-useful labels, then you stop making excuses, and live and operate from place of personal power and excellence.

Test this for me, grab old of your ego, and hold it in one of your hands, go on do it, did you find it?

Now notice the feelings of your body in your seat, notice any sounds in the room, and play attention to how the inside of your mouth feels.  Remember something that made you happy 3-5-10 years back, and think of 1-3-7-11- things that would make your tomorrows, just wonderful.

ALL CONSCIOUSNESS

Hi

Here is something to consider.

There is no ego! No Subconscious mind! There is only consciousness and the articulation of attention.
Something to keep in mind, are things like ego, and any other adage are just distinctions, of the facets of consciousness,  the more classifications there are, to represent an idea, there are building more and more filters, in front of the raw experience.

That my consciousness talking lol

Hello And welcome

A Samurai and a Zen Master

A samurai, a very proud warrior, came to see a Zen Master one day. The samurai was
very famous, but looking at the beauty of the Master and the Grace of the moment, he
suddenly felt inferior.
He said to the Master, "Why am I feeling inferior? Just a moment ago everything was
okay. As I entered your court suddenly I felt inferior. I have never felt like that before. I
have faced death many times, and I have never felt any fear -- why am I now feeling
frightened?"

The Master said, "Wait. When everyone else has gone, I will answer. "
People continued the whole day to come and see the Master, and the samurai was getting
more and more tired waiting. By evening the room was empty, and the samurai said,

"Now, can you answer me?"

The Master said, "Come outside."

It was a full moon night, the moon was just rising on the horizen. And he said, "Look at
these trees. This tree is high in the sky and this small one beside it. They both have
existed beside my window for years, and there has never been any problem. The smaller
tree has never said to the big tree, 'Why do I feel inferior before you?' This tree is small,
and that tree is big -- why have I never heard a whisper of it?"
The samurai said, "Because they can't compare."
The Master replied, "Then you need not ask me. You know the answer."

How is this an issue for you?

And what specifically would you like and want in its place?

“But the one who decides my future” Well you need a slap for giving away your power, STOP IT!!
First thing run every crying episode you can consciously remember backwards and in black and while, pick one the first times if you can remember that, and run it the way I just suggested very fast, until when you think about it you just can’t get it to run the same way, after you do this with 7-11 memories of the same kind, your brain will get the idea and do the rest on auto pilot, your brain is very at doing that.

Think of 3 really power positive memories, and imagine that you can put the power from these memories in to a wrist band, pump the energy up, and power up  the band and imagine that you are putting the band on your wrist, feel the power and the band on your wrist.
Now take these feelings of power, in to your past into the times and places where you used to cry, only notice what its like from this place of power, and from the very first time right in to next week, month and year, only notice that each day you move forward you get stronger, more centred, focused and clam, now as you are in that time in the future turn and look back in to the now, and walk back with all that power from that time, making any and all adjustment as you come back into the right now.

CAN YOU Smell pop corn?

Play with that Donations are welcome lol

Be happy not give thing away.

Hi
Time is a facet of other peoples imaginations, when you allow your thinking to move faster than the concept of time then there really is no effort involved, the gift of being able to have multi story boards running at the same time, then I don’t get caught up in over running, with issues, I allow my other than conscious to do all that stuff in the background, so it frees me up to be in the conscious part of the world, as and when needed.
I have very clear boundaries, in how I allow my brain to run and have on and off switches that I have hypnotically installed over the years.

Jay
261  Coaching / Ask the Coach / Re: The worrier within on: March 22, 2007, 04:01:08 PM
Hi Brian
It comes down to a few simple process,  I first got into NLP because I was dyslexic, and my brain run wide, so I found it really hard to focus, once I started to get to play with NLP, I was able to notice that there were many multiple imagines running at the same time, and as none of them was still for any length of time, then holding data was a little hard, anyway to cut through a lot of mental reorganization, I was able to slow the imagines down to where I was able to focus my attention, what I noticed after a long time playing the subjective coding is that, everything that I had ever processed was available, so what I am able to do it build and engineer, and run and test,  neurological processes, then turn them into something workable in the form of words that create an experience.
It’s very, very spontaneous process, and happens very quickly.
The butler in this process can be used as ago between, from the part he/she in looking after, so the butler who can have an empathic link to its charge, can take the meetings if need be.

I am starting to look at ways of unpacking the huge store house, of patterns that I have created, over the years, and there are 100s and 100s of them into a user friendly package.
Its also important to be able to step into thinking like a child, most grown ups if you asked them to draw a cat would stick to bland colours, black white, brown, where for me it would be purple, green and pink

There is nothing wrong with having that type of imagination, as long as you can be mature and grown up, when you need to be.

Hi Not Sure If this is the one.

The Two Trees by William Butler Yeats.

Beloved, gaze in thine own heart,
The holy tree is growing there;
From joy the holy branches start,
And all the trembling flowers they bear.
The changing colours of its fruit
Have dowered the stars with metry light;
The surety of its hidden root
Has planted quiet in the night;
The shaking of its leafy head
Has given the waves their melody,
And made my lips and music wed,
Murmuring a wizard song for thee.
There the Joves a circle go,
The flaming circle of our days,
Gyring, spiring to and fro
In those great ignorant leafy ways;
Remembering all that shaken hair
And how the winged sandals dart,
Thine eyes grow full of tender care:
Beloved, gaze in thine own heart.
Gaze no more in the bitter glass
The demons, with their subtle guile.
Lift up before us when they pass,
Or only gaze a little while;
For there a fatal image grows
That the stormy night receives,
Roots half hidden under snows,
Broken boughs and blackened leaves.
For ill things turn to barrenness
In the dim glass the demons hold,
The glass of outer weariness,
Made when God slept in times of old.
There, through the broken branches, go
The ravens of unresting thought;
Flying, crying, to and fro,
Cruel claw and hungry throat,
Or else they stand and sniff the wind,
And shake their ragged wings; alas!
Thy tender eyes grow all unkind:
Gaze no more in the bitter glass.
263  Coaching / Ask the Coach / Re: The worrier within on: March 22, 2007, 03:28:58 AM
Ha how’s you doin?
A few things that might add to your very good choices one thank the voices, for looking out for you, and welcome their support, then just get on with what ever your doing.

Then you could do an inner voice alignment, where all voices come from one place.

This is one way of how to go about doing it.
First you create a very special place in your imagination, like a forest, and in the middle of the forest you place a cottage or a castle, or any type of building that works for you.

Now with every voice that you have you give it an identity, and turn it into some type of morphosis form, so it maybe your mum, or dad or a police officer, yet something that identifies with the qualities of that voice in a way in which it represents it to you.

Now invite each voice identity, to have a walk through the forest, and make it in to a little adventure, as a way of learning the voice is all about, ask it questions, and allow the journey to unfold, where the voice reaches the building and have the voice identity, enter the building in to a large dining room where there is a huge round table  and invite the voice to take a seat, and tell it that this is its new home, and it will be very well looked after. Now in front of each seat there is a box, and inside each box there is a little bell, that when rung, the voice will be entertained by a personal butler, who will look after every need the voice may want.
Now thank the voice identity, and repeat the process over with each new voice, just remember that each time you take a voice to the building you have to introduce it to everyone else, in the room. And each voice has its very own butler that will look after it in every way.
The building is set in its own grounds and once a voice is in side, its there for life,  you can add anything to the landscape, shops a theme park, mountains, weather systems, museums, schools,  and so on. The voices can have daily, weekly, monthly meetings, and work out as a whole, the very best ways for you to be in the world.
Just an idea

Hi Anne
From what you are saying it seems like you have created an over generalized imprint, what do you know about NLP? So I can use words in my next reply that you can work with.
None = Doh what is NLP
Little = read a book yet still don’t get it
Some = read a pile of books etc, etc, yet still can’t get my brain to work the way I like

Side note

Jen many actors use, a memory the evokes an emotional release, maybe when there first pet past away or  something with other emotional intestacy, then use a anchor to tap into that emotional embodiment.

Hi
That’s an interesting statement “I work from home but not for myself” so you give all your money away?”  cool,  a mind set, that I adopted years ago, no matter if I was working with others, or for myself,  I would always class my self as self employed, now you might have noticed that I said work with others and not for others,  when we work with others a different internal relationship is formed, and having this synergistic mind set,  means that you have to take 100% responsibility for your day to day out put,  which means you can use your none task time to ever enjoy the free time, and sit on you arse all day, or you can add some new skills to your CV,  Brian Tracy who is a fantastic business executive coach, pointed out that if we would just read one chapter of a book each day, read a poem, and listen to one educational CD each day, with in a year you could be in the top  5% of the top earners in your field, the books would be directly related to your field and the audio programmes would be, topics like negotiating, sales, time management etc.
So the work you do in the week, does it come in dribs and drabs? Or you get a weekly task sheet? Could you reorganize, your week in such away, where you would be able to work, for several days flat out, and use the other days to do something creative, maybe doing something that could create some extra passive income.
Lake of motivation is often the direct production, of not having anything to aim for, if you don’t have any goals, then you really don’t need motivation, and you can enjoy this free time.

You can bet you bottom dollar/pound if you set your self a goal/ task the motivation will kick in.

Hello there
Ok well before you can build your house you need a good foundation, going from your words, and you saying you’re shy, then if you was not shy what would you be?  What would the look sound and feel like?  Could you just say hello just to one new person a day?  Some things for you to consider, joining a few clubs, where you have to interact with others, as a way to start to build social confidence, self confidence is a really the key to attracting, women, being a genuine, personable open and honest, are traits to build into your self. One way of doing this is make a list of male roll models,  that you find have the characteristics, that you would find helpful in just chatting to people, imagine that your roll model is taking your place and see here and feel your roll model being you, in what ever context you decide to use, then choose a new roll model and have him do the same, and do this over and over again, until your roll model is the life of the party or what ever the context maybe, the only goal you roll model has is to make as many friends in the time he as.

Then you step in the body of your roll models one at a time and run through the whole process  again making any adjustments that feel you need to make, then once you feel this is working you as your self run the same thing over.

Do this ever day at least 3 time a day, first  with imagined pretend possibilities, then with relation life situations, lets say you have to buy some mike, run the process wit each of your roll models, then you go and do it, and notice how you feel and the vibs you are picking up from people, then build into it going to the library, and the going to bars and so on, adding new roll models as you go a long, soon you will be doing this on automatic, and your confidence will build and build, then as you start with talking to one new persons every 2-3 days, male and female, and build a bigger and bigger social network, the bigger your network the more possibility you will create to first of all make lots of friends and you can even then start to looking at getting closer, as you go along.

Just remember be honest to who you are, be open, and venerable, yet from a place for personal strength and power.

“I attended an NLP weekend and had to sign a form to say that I didn't have any mental health problems.”

My assumed reason for you having to sign that form was to protect the trainers of that event, as you was there for training and not for therapy, then this form allows the trainers to get a fuller overview of the people intendance.

NLP works very well with ODC and having some experience of working with OCD, and then from a process and structure point of view, OCD is a lot easier to work with than smoking cessation.

All behaviors have a start-middle-and an end “a stimulus”/trigger/cause, that leads to an event/ effect/response that leads to and operation and a choice point ever to move on to do something else or to continue in a loop, the structure of OCD seems have a over zealous loop in the operational stage of the behavior prevent overwrites the first exit point which could leads to a host of ritualistic behavior patterns.

Any one who has done a good NLP practitioner would be able to work out the OCD strategy and change it in the most positive ways.

That is just one very basic way of looking at how OCD works, and one that I have notice seems to be common with OCD.

Hi

I enjoy journaling, and find that it’s a very good way of letting things go, you know the time when your in the bank and the casher is having a less then happy day and takes it out on the general public, and when it become your turn, you just know that you are going to make her day, because you have a pile of change, that you need to deposit and even though you may have all your NLP skills in tacked, that look just burns your heart right out of your chest, and you start to feel for the poor human. And enter second passion fully, and do a full DTI DEEP TRANCE IDENTIFICAION with the casher, and just feel all that emotion welling up, then you slap yourself out of the self imposed trance, and get on with your day, then the brain starts up, and started replaying the movie, of the bake casher, and how something just did not feel right, over and over again, then you are at home and you write it out adding a few special effects, like a machinegun ok maybe not that it could be an idea, and then once you have it out of your system, the mind is clear and you can get on being, doing and getting on with other things.

274  Coaching / Ask the Coach / Re: Need advice for something pretty different and 'out there' for me on: February 14, 2007, 05:55:25 PM
Hi

Quick note this in a functional installation. Enjoy. Read it 3 times.

Ok well you have a few mental codes, that need to be, organized in a more functional way, and I will, pop them out in a different post, now you know what you want, so what you have to do is ask your self, where I am today in relation to the main goal. Do I have a profile/portfolio that I can present to people, as you have a already made a few short films, have you made an effort to get people to see them, people in the film business and people in general? If people know your work, then it starts to build credibility, so maybe you need to submit your short films to short film festivals, to get your name out in to the public.

I as you have been a journey the one I have in mind, is the one that you took to go from a white belt to a Black belt, now I am guessing that you have a memory of what is was like when you first started? And now that you can go through the motions in a flow that allows and gives you a personal confidence in your abilities, so as you can tap into that confidence of owning your mind-body, you know that you need to do some things.

First thing you have done, you know what you want, now lets just say it’s sometime in the future, (think of a realistic time frame to have this done) and you have created and produced your film and it is  successful in everyway that you need it to be successful for you.

Now in your imagination, run through in as much detail as you can that lead to the step before the one your at in that time, all the way back to this moment, now you need to consider having 3 different ways to getting the outcome.

And as you run through this and that, take this personal confidence that you developed while you was going from a while all the way up to being a black belt, now you will have to do something’s you will need to get a profile to show people, you will need to get to meet and talk with people and as you add all these ideas, to being able to get outside, of what you did not know that is not needed, in only one way that leads to another.

Now as you can have some ideas of conceptual reality, what you have to do is to allow your inner confidence that you have built over time, in place that into the future and work from that place.

Now I could talk to a part of you that knows, that there are some things that are real, yet it also knows that nothing is real, like how does confidence feel? Where is in your body? And as you can play attention to that this feeling can align, it’s self to anything that was in the way, and as you can find anyways, in side out in the world.

You now have to work out what you can do next, what is the very next step, that you need to do, to set it in “motion”, and what “pictures” sounds and feeling will lead you into tapping into the “universal” energy that will show you the ways, and people and resources that having this natural confidence in all your futures, that lead to getting the wonderful relationships that will allow you to have your ideas come in to being, now I don’t know how much of this will make sense for you, now and I don’t know if you are willing to do what it takes, to be willing to allow these new ideas, align in just the right ways that you can focus now on making little steps each day, making notes reading the right papers, searching the internet, going to new places in side the world that will give you more and more opportunities, and in the end get you what you want in just the right ways that are in alignment with all your beliefs and values, and as you can place them into the new ways you can have what you want and need. Only in the right ways that work for you from that time that you have in your dreams, all the way into the now, and as that time and this time are in alignment, you can go and produce the life you want.

“I don't have the clout yet to talk to the big guys”

What would you need to “be” “have” “do” and feel to have the clout?
What is clout specifically?
How do you know you don’t have the clout?
What would you do, if you found out that you did if fact have clout?
Where can I buy clout from? Does it come in different sizes?

Big guys

How Big 12 feet tall? How many of them? Who specifically?
If you kicked the big guys in the nuts would they fall to their knees?
Who do you know that could point you in the right direction?

Now even though they are a few silly questions in that lot, they service a purpose.

I assume that you are not the only person that as a good film in the making, now what you have to consider, is this if you film is really good, then it will make money, so the fund givers will consider any half descent, film as it will make money.

Now something that you might consider and this is really crazy, create a trailer for your film, and place it on your website, also go to you tube etc, and place it up there, now have a little intro saying something like, what to help make real move, what your name and business to be in the in the thank you montage animation. Individuals $50 small business $250-500 corporations $1500 or what ever amounts, would work. Then get the mini trailer link everywhere you can think about. MTV and all the day time TV shoes just go to the web sites, and send them a copy of the trailer link.

State that you are aiming for a little over million.

And see what happens.

Well as you seem to think you idea is far out, I thought I would see if I could reach the same level of faroutness.

Hi Cat

You are welcome.

500.000 words, is your goal, look into food sciences look into how the body and food work together, if you are going to be obsessive, then you need to know that all the pros and cons, that way not only will you get an education you will be an educator in time.

You have been on a path that as given you away of feel stuck, so it now time to use all that time you have spent getting this far, to do your self a real favour, that being a positive resource for others. A little pushy on my part hay, that’s ok though. You are getting this for free.

This goal is to last until you reach the 500.000 word count.

A few words here and there daily weekly, monthly, until you are done. Cook books, food science, psychology, you have library I assume in your city? Make it your home from home.

One more thing from you pushy Brit friend, start a dairy, the left hand page is for you to write down all the crappy stuff emotional crap that happens, how you feel and all that, the right side is for you to jot down all the good things have happened, in the day. Now this is the magic rule, ever 2-3 weeks read all the right side of the pages only.

Now use this mantra daily until it becomes your primary way of thinking.

I am totally independent of criticism and the good or bad opinion of others.

I’m beneath know one and superior to know one

I am fearless in the face of any and all challenges

There’s a flower in the corner of my mind
There’s a heart beat in the tears that fall
There’s a dream in the middle of know where
There’s a dance in the moon light
There’s a war in don’t want to fight
There’s wisdom in falling to my knees
There is no down fall for living
There are only dreams in the minds that want to be fulfilled
There’s only one way to go
There’s only one way out
There’s only one way
Just live

Exceptional understanding

Can you hear the heart beat?
Can you feel the vibrations in the air?
Can you hear the thoughts in the hearts of others?
Do you hide out of site from the crowds?
Can you remember dancing in the clouds?
Can you go back and remember before this time?
Can you step in to the heart of another?
Do you fall to your knees when you forget to leave?
Do you wish you never entered a room?
Can you lose your self in the middle of know where?
Can you come back as good as new?
Can you whisper to the hearts that need you?
Can you be there when it’s time?
Can you be a light?
Can you open your mind?
Can you be the heart beat?
Can you set people free?

Hi

This is something that is out of my knowing, so please forgive its scrappy and unclearness of my reply.

Ok first do you have all your work copy righted? If not you need to make sure that this is done, otherwise there could be a possibility someone could nick your code and work.

Check out sites like www.download.com do a search for educational games and jot down the companies that publish the programmes.

Then visit their web sites, and send them an e-mail with a basic overview of what you have created, and ask them if they would be interested. Also ask How there got started out, and how there got there first brake.

Check out companies like Nightingale-Conant http://www.nightingale.com/
And http://www.transparentcorp.com/products/np/index.php who might be able to give you better quality advice on how to get started.

I am assuming publishing a game would be very much like publishing where you would have to send a copy of your script/game to publishers. So that might mean you might have to create a test mode based game that you are happy to let people play with. Something that just popped into my mind is you might be able to get your game published via download.com in a test mode for mat.

Then e-mail educational authorities and asked to give it a test for you. And you might get lucky and some funding via an educational body. Also check out places like dyslexic and special needs educational centers.

Well I don’t know if any of this is helpful

Yet I wish you ever bit of luck and success

281  Coaching / Ask the Coach / Re: Disciplined or Obsessive? on: February 02, 2007, 11:32:03 PM
Hi Cat

What do you find good in this situation?
What does it give you?
What one thing would you be willing to do different?
How many other vegans do you know?

Maybe if you had a network of people who are vegans, than I am sure could find a balance, as you could find out how other vegans, deal with having fun while out and about.

Now the choice of none choice is maybe a choice that you need to not think about, the good thing about food, is that there are so many, many choices, you have a global net work at your finger tips, where you can learn about good food from other parts of the world, Now if your in the USA or the UK then you have access, to a whole world of new and vegan friendly food.

Something that you have to consider if you have children then how is your limitations affecting them? If you are an older sister or an aunt, then how are your behaviours as a roll model affecting the younger people in your charge?

Just what type of roll model are you to the younger people that are in your family?

One thing that you can consider which is a two step activity, 1 write down everything that is good about the choices you have given your self, and go back in time to the very beginning, what was the motivations that put you on that path.

Then it a day and then do the same with write down everything that is limiting about the choices you have chosen.

Now read what you have written into a voice recorder and listen to it.

Once you have done that write down in as much detail as you can just how you would like your life to be. How would the world look, sound and feel if you could just have it the way you wanted.

Then read that in to the voice recorder and play it back.

Now using the limited life script and the best life script as a tool to focus your innate, obsessiveness, listen/read the limited once a week. And listen and read to the best life script every day first thing in the morning and some time in the evening.

Now I am going to suggest something that is and will be counter intuitive to most councillors, I want you to read ever food and diet related book and magazine and article you can find. Not only do I want you to read I want you to make take notes, and lots of them, then I want you to use you’re so called obsessiveness to write a word document. That as a 500,000 word count, now if you are as limited and as obsessive as you clime you will have to comply otherwise you have demonstrated that you have more choice than you think which mean you have to revaluate everything you have stated.

So get busy read and do more reading, and take notes and write daily, there is a very, good reason for you to follow through with this. Yet I can‘t divulge other wise it would blow the whole thing out.

Welcome to the forum, Michael is fantastic isn’t he, I am here in the UK, and it’s a little dull and rainy here, yet it’s not so cold, which is good, I am in a bit of a rush right now, and will add more later when I am done rushing about, quick question, do you have a window in your apt?  If so you can create the illusion of more space by placing a big mirror on the adjacent wall of the window and ever though you have a cognitive intelligent knowing that it’s not a real second window, the psychological effect is very surprising.

Many years ago I used to feel very claustrophobic and started to play around with ways of making small spaces feel bigger, and using a mirror was one way of creating the illusions of more doors and windows out of the room I was in.

Now all that tightness and feeling closed in, is way back there, in a time before, and it’s just it’s so far away now, that I don’t even see it any more, and just think about all the other possibilities of just feel open and happy.

Well I have a habit of going on with myself, so in the immortal words stage exit left.

Hello Tammy

Welcome to the forum.

“Does this create any type of conflicts?” so as this maybe your primary concern, my question is can you envision any conflicts?

If yes then how might you address them?
What specific conflicts do you think may come up?
Who of your friends/family may not appreciate being coached?
Who of your friends/family do you think and feel would enjoy being coached?
What topics are you happy to get involved with?
What topics would you, feel uneasy covering?

From my point of view coaching friends and family, as more positive to it then negative, as you can set it up in such away that it becomes a game, as you can get your friends and family of roll play clients, and you can give them ideates to play with, and also work with some real things that would help your friends and family to do much better in what they what to do.

The thing is we coach our friends and family ever day, it’s just now as you are working to get a bit of paper that say you are a qualified then the frame of reference changes, if one of your friends have a issue and they come to you for advice, this is coaching, you help your Kid/s with home work this is coaching.

If you can plan ahead and ask yourself a host of question, about what may be involved, what may or may not create tensions, then you can work your way around and conflicts, and as you have the safety net of these people being your friends and family, then you can use them times for feedback and to refine your skills.

See, hear and feel your self feeling confident and the more you do the more competent you will be, if you have never baked a cake before, and you have a new recipe, then you have to play with the cake mix, and bake a few cakes, each time making adjustments making each cake better each time until to can make and bake the cake and then you can sell your cakes and make lots of people very happy.

Hi

Do you need to be a chef to bake a cake?  No! yet you do have to have a level of confidence and more importantly a good level of competence, the thing with NLP/Hypnotherapy/ coaching they are not classed as mainstream, or governed by the same rules and licences, like Psychology, psychotherapy, and counselling, you could if you wanted too, set up a NLP/Hypnosis and Life coaching school, with out any training,  as they are in effect self governing  and self accrediting bodies, that creates  what is hopefully a well represented set of values, that practitioners agree too.

Life coaching is classed as an education tool, and is not governed by any academic standing, so you can call your self a life coach, if you wish.

Just a few more things, spend a lot of time stretching, the longer you can stretch the muscles the more power and strength it will develop, also make an effort to use your body to get strong, press ups, chin ups, etc. consider looking into yoga, as away to getting strong through your body.

I need to know a few things so I can make an informed guess about what’s going on with your body and give you some information that more aimed that you.

What is your muscle to fat ratio?  Are you over weight?

Fat is a S.O.B when it comes to energy consumption if you don’t want to answer the question on the board then PM me.

What is your work out schedule?

You need to change you work out, plan ever 3 weeks, or your body will just adapt and progress will be slow. One of the biggest issues going to the Gym is even though people go 3-5 times a week and don’t make much progress is because people get fixed in to a static work out, if we use the classical psychology model that it takes 21 days for a habit to habituate, then if you apply that to the gym then you muscle just go through the motions, so if you create several different work outs, and cycle through them, always with in a three week run, then your body will never become dumb.

Building muscle is going to be a key goal that does not mean that you have to become the hulk, yet does mean that you will have to life heaver weights.

I if by some chance you are over weight, the I am going to tell the do give this idea a go, it is very counter intuitive, yet will rip the fat of faster than any thing the your gym trainers will tell you.

Drop the cardio for two weeks, and work with weights, light weights Monday and Friday lot of reps, and do the whole body, 25x10 heavy weights on Wednesday, and I mean heavy, and again do for the whole body, the second week, you do heavy, light heavy.

The 3rd week you drop weights and only do cardio, 20 minutes x 2 time a day, for five days one on one off, you will need a watch and ever 2 and a half minutes you increase your pace, so when you hit the 7 and a half minute point you are running flat out and you keep that going for the 2 and a half minutes, then pace down, till you are at the same pace you started, at the end of that week you swap the whole cycle around. Week 1 run- week weights- week 3 run. The days you do heavy weights your aim is to add between 1-3 Kg’s every 3 weeks.

With in 12-24 weeks you will be as fit as a commando.

Food on weight training weeks, you need to be eating more protean, on running weeks more carbs

Water in tack is 5 millilitres per one pound body weight. A day, so that’s lot of water, pay attention to how you are eating, you your meals have a mix of protein, carbs and fats, then the first mouth full, will set the digestion process for that first bite, so if it’s a weight training week and you are having a chicken and rice, then eat a few bits of chicken first., and the other way around if it a running week.

You might want to look into St’John’s Wort; it’s a fantastic natural mood elevator, any you might need to check with your Doctor if you are on Meds, to make sure it won’t conflict.

291  Coaching / Ask the Coach / Re: Giving up Smoking on: January 15, 2007, 04:33:54 PM
Hi Anglia

A few questions before I do my patter, when you are working with the smoker, is she in a state where she needs a smoke?

When there is a habit based process like smoking then it is a real good idea to have the person come to the session wanting a smoke, this way you get access to the addition drivers and higher quality feedback. Do you use trance/ hypnosis? As smoking is both a chemical addition/ and an anchored conditioned muscle memory patterned response.

So it may be that you have to do a closed eye process so you can create a deeper level of communication with the other than conscious mind.

PS did you get my PM about the  PDF?
292  Genius Catalyst / This, That and the Other / Re: Article series possibility on: January 12, 2007, 03:27:05 PM
The body and nervous system are very, very sensitive mechanisms, the task is away of training you to pay attention to the body talk, if you are able to listen to your body and the way your nervous system is talking to you, then you have a wider set of choices about how to choice to run the states.  It gives you away of picking up on information that we generally miss until it is to late and we are in a state that may be not the best for the task at hand, it may be a little out of the box, yet it’s a very powerful skill, to be able to catch your habituated process in action and in doing so give you the choice to ever run with the habituated behaviour if it is going to serve it’s purpose, or you can stop the process because you have awareness of what is happening, and choose a different way of reacting to the given situation. Now I know I did not cover the inductions very well, so I will make it some what easy to play with.

You have your three glasses, and they are set up, you ask your self should I drink out of glass 1? Then pay attention to what internal information you get, once you get and answer yes/no go on to the next glass, ask the same question, should I drink out of glass 2? And again pay attention to what you body is telling you, and make a note for yes or no, and do the same for glass 3, now if you get 2 yeses, then put them two glasses to the side, and do the process again with the 2 glasses, playing very close attention to the information you get from your body, once you feel you have found the uncontaminated water take a little sip. If you found it well done if not, then relax and repeat the process over and over, till you can read your own body signals. And get 8-10 in a row right.

Now you don’t have to do anything, it’s just one way of getting a more refined sensitivity, to how your body reacts in the world.

J

PS it’s because you don’t want to drink the contaminated water that your body will give you a lot of information to pick up on.
293  Genius Catalyst / This, That and the Other / Re: Article series possibility on: January 11, 2007, 07:13:49 PM
Hi

I will give a quick fix now and cover a more detailed systems overview in article from, in the time to come.

If we use the analogy, that the human organism, is a hologram, meaning that all systems are connected and interconnected, and if we get the idea that the skin, is a biggest organ, that the body as, then under the skin we have muscles, then the skeleton, now if you take a little time to do this, sit in a up right and relaxed way, now is the can have a neutral expression of your face, then keeping the mouth in the same neutral place, allow your self to smile just from the eyes, and keep it there, for a while, now unless you have some nerve damage, you should have stated to lose hold of the neutral face and started to smile with your whole face.

Now as we are a holographic system there is no split between mind and body, and by holding onto thoughts of one kind or another creates a code in the system that creates a domino effect that happens in the skin, that connects to the muscles and nervous and endocrine system, and creates the Biochemical messages that produces the good or bad chemicals, that control your moods/states.

If you want to play with getting a real closer connection with your body, play with this. You need three glasses of water. In one glass put in a spoon of sugar, in the other put a spoon of salt, and the 3rd glass just leave it as is. You need to close your eyes and some one mix the glasses up. Now open your eyes, now your goal is to find the plan water. Play attention very carefully to what the information your body is giving you, and it can be very under defined, yet if you stick with it, till you get 8 out 10 finds right, you will be able to read your own body, and make adjustment in how you are doing things, that may have lead to something less positive.

Hi aniinl

From my point of view I have been exploring states of consciousness, for well over a decade, blending Hypnosis and meditation in one form or another, and I got nothing out of the program, I spent 100 hours, using Holosync, to give it a run, and for me it was a waste of time, I asked if I could move up a few levels, as I had spent 1000’s and 1000’s of hours, exploring states of consciousness before I came across Holosync and well the answer was no, so that did rest well with me, and came across like it was more of a way to make money, than away to help improve peoples well being.

Yet that’s just my view, and doing your own research, and getting points of view from others will serve you much better than my jaded experience.

After doing a lot of ground work with brain entrainment for my own personal use, I have found the brain wave generator, to be a very cost effective way to get a better overall effect, then the £150 that I paid, for Holosync, plus I can design and create sessions for getting into specific states, where Holosync is for me, very static.

Yet again I say do some more research, as this is from my map of the world. And finding the pros and cons from a bigger audience, will serve you best.

297  Genius Catalyst / This, That and the Other / Re: Centerpointe Holosync programme on: January 08, 2007, 05:28:11 PM
Hi aniinl

There are a lot of mixed views for Holosync, for some people it works really well, for others it can be an overwhelming experience, I have the first level, yet I also have a lot of other audio entrainment technologies, I find them to be more effective in the results I get, and more cost effective, the full Holosync program which as 12 levels to it, and it is recommend that you take 3-12 months with each level before you move on to the next Is a really big commitment.

Where you can check out the people Like Dr, Jeffery Thomson, Kelly Howell and do a search of hemi-sync and the Neuro-programmer 2, which I feel you would have a lot more benefit with, I don’t think the price of the Holosync is worth it.

Where the neuro programmer you can create and personal sessions, and convert them to MP3 or CD, as it works on your pc.

I would search for Holosync forums and get a real good over view, of the technology, before I would part with my cash, I know from my personal experience I won’t be buying any other levels.

I would look into the Mozart effect By Don Campbell and “imusic” which I would place all in front of Holosync.

And www.bwgen.com  where you can download a free trail run of the brain wave generator, and I think it’s about $20 for a license and you can create you own sessions.

I am going to use the analogy of a muscle that is cramping up, if you have a muscle that is in the process of cramping up, than for you to have it un-cramp, it to let it relax and let it complete its run, these images are in many ways just like a stuck muscle, so the easies way to end them is to let them run to the end, now this does take a little bit of will to allow the thoughts to run, as they like you say are scary, yet what you have to also understand it that it’s just your imagination.

So the is a meditation called taming the tiger, that I am going suggest you play with.

Ok it is real easy, you use the meditation that you do most, yet you add this component to it, imagine two big tigers, and allow then to cercal you in your meditation, and you notice that one of the tigers as a saddle on it, and you allow that to enter the meditation, and you sit up on the saddle, and you ride the tiger, now just go with the thoughts that come up, and if anything that starts to feel uneasy, you allow your self to become the tiger, and allow the thought and feeling to run through you from the vantage of being the tiger, now as the tiger you are fearless, powerful and you can run very, very fast, you can also fight with the power of the tiger, and you can walk without making a sound, just like a tiger, and play with this and the thought streams that happen, and as you allow them to run out, they will just fade away as you gave them no power. Once you have come to the end of the meditation, notice that you are sitting back on the saddle, then notice that you are back in the room, and that both tigers are walking around you, take a little time to tank the tigers, and watch them fade away, taking all the negatives with them.

This became one of my very favourite, meditations, for a number of years, the second job it to keep you safe on your journey, and if even you get stuck, then he will come a get you. It could be a she in your case, and you might even give them a name.

A different way to go about working with this is, to do your normal meditation yet you need a pen and pan, allow the images to come, and stop just like you would do, yet instead of running about your day as you normally do, sit down and write and if you can draw what you remember, then this will also close the neuro loops.
