MNCT-669 A Thousand a Day

This has to be the best time management tip ever.
What do you do to get the most out of each minute every day?
I think tomorrow I will:
spend some time planning
spend some time on others
spend time on something new
and be fully engaged!

I would agree with Terri!
Michael, you so inspire me with the way you keep outdoing yourself! Your coaching tips are already the best and then they get better! How do you do what you do?!
May you be blessed even more, and thank you for sharing your blessings!
Love,
Wendy

This is my first time posting my thoughts on Michael's tips and I already feel I'm using my minutes well. I realize that I spend a lot of time thinking and appreciating people Like Michael who inspire and make a difference....now that's using their minutes well. Meanwhile I just privately think & analyze...etc... but never really share. Today I am acknowledging that by sharing my thoughts on today's topic both with this post and others I might speak with today, I am also enhancing my minutes with valuable insight to one of life's most precious gifts "Time". Thank you Michael.

You're welcome, Ritz!
Heard a beautiful speech about how to use your minutes from Jimmy Valvano, a college basketball coach who died of Cancer in the early 1990's.
The bit that jumped out at me was this:
To me, there are three things we all should do every day. We should do this every day of our lives. Number one is laugh. You should laugh every day. Number two is think. You should spend some time in thought. Number three is, you should have your emotions moved to tears, could be happiness or joy. But think about it. If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that's a full day. That's a heck of a day. You do that seven days a week, you're going to have something special.
You can watch the whole speech at

Happy spending,

Michael, I watched that speech at the link you provided, and I have now filled my daily quota for tears. Very inspirational!

You are right, MaryRC! The speech is inspirational!! Absolutely so!
I downloaded parts of it on my mobile to carry with me and to watch it whenever I feel I can do with some extra inspiration. Thank you for bringing it back to focus here :-)
