Very excited

Well, I did my first coaching session with my father. It went different from how I had imagined it because he didn't respond as I thought he would to one of my exercises. However, I found that I was able to come up with answers relatively quickly to his responses. I felt really good about it and my confidence level grew by leaps and bounds!
So, I sent out an email to a friend telling her of this new business that I am going to start and felt REALLY good about doing that too! I feel that I am on the path. I was just very excited so I had to post it somewhere that other like minded people congregate. that's it!

I am looking to move back to my home town and start a new job and I am trying to listen to my inner voice to guide me in this process. Your posts about changing career paths are great. Congrats on the session with your father.

Congratulations, amrench!
Was that your first coaching session *ever* or the first with your father? In either case - great! I'm just asking because I'm trying to get myself to do my first coaching session *ever* and I'm struggling getting over the fear. But I could never EVER do it with one of my parents!
What exercises did you do with him and what feedback did you get from him after your first session?
