Interesting post.
If there was a 'one post' answer to your dilema then i would market it and become even wealthier

A few questions though...answer as many or as few as you feel comfortable in doing.
Did you sleep through the night
every night before you were sick ?
Are you taking any medication ?
Do you
need to sleep through the night ?
Do you get up to pee...or just get up ?
Are you 'open' to hypnosis ?
Do you
need to sleep through the night ?
Do you eat / drink / smoke within an hour or two of going to bed ?
Do you
need to sleep through the night ?
Do you sleep during the day (cat-naps) ?
You will notice i asked one question more than once.
If you are getting up through the night and it is having no effect on you or your performance the next day, maybe you dont just need the sleep as much as you did. I know i used to get so wound up inside listening to people who slept for 8 hours every night, until i realised that although i only sleep for a maximum of 5 hours....that was all i needed.
I am sure other Genii will respond to your post with lots of sound suggestions.
