Hello

I am looking for a series of questions from you folks that I can have a go at replying to in an MP3 presentation-

The primary reason for doing this is to get past my hang ups of public presentation's -or at least in part- the questions need to be related to NLP/ Hypnosis and general personal development-

So this is what you get- you get to hear a crazy British guy- talking about some topic of interest-and a giggle has he rants on-  the format of the MP3 will go something like this- I will collect your questions- and over a time will think of some ideas as what comes to my mind- as a reply- when I record the MP3 I will have the question on little slips of paper- and will pick each question at random- and go with each question as it comes up-

So if you have a Question post it here- I am looking at covering about 12 questions- or so- I don't have a specific time frame to completion yet with in the next 3-4 weeks I am aiming to have it-

All mockery and mickey taking with be accepted with delight and pleasure-

LJ

May the peace in me be with you

Hello Jay,

Who is your intended audience for the presentation? I'm mind reading it's for people who are curious about NLP and hypnosis but haven't gathered much information yet. So how about:

'Does NLP really get changes as quickly and easily as some claim?'

A question that can close the gap between what we know as NLP-ers and potential clients - and opens up the way for you to talk about how you get changes.

All the best with this - look forward to hearing the results  Smiley

Freedom and love

Hiya Ian

This place called earth is my audience- I will narrow this scope down as the deep impending fear starts to run through my system- as the primary reason behind this boost my confidence- than there are a number of people that may find this entertaining-

I like your question- it puts one on the spot-

I am almost tempted to reply to this question- yet will hold off until the MP3 ready-

Thanks for you question and Be well in side now-

I'm sure it will be entertaining Jay  Smiley

I asked about the audience partly because it can be better to have a niche audience rather than targeting too widely. That said, I struggle with having a niche myself, for some projects. In many ways a niche makes itself known when it (or the universe) is ready.

Have fun with this and be sure to point us in the direction of your MP3 file.

Hi Jay,

A colleague has been talking about this NLP stuff and he mentioned it can help cure phobias and other cool things. One of the things he mentioned was a 'Fast Phobia Cure'

What is a 'Fast Phobia Cure', what does it do,how does it work,  in what contex is it used ?'

Cheers,

Mark

How about...

Do you think EMDR, FPC and tapping have a common mechanism or pattern? If so, what sort of pattern would it be?

Have fun!

Martin.

Sounds like you're going to be doing two tricky things at once; answering some sticky questions, at the same time as dealing with your hangups about public speaking. Very admirable and I'm sure you're going to enjoy it.

I'd like to offer you a question as well as a suggestion.

"What, and why is it you love what you do?"

The suggestion, even if you don't record your answer, is to answer this question first. The reason being that I'm guessing you not only already know the answer to this question and could take about it for hours, but also that when you start to talk about what you love it produces the sort of clarity and tone in your voice and thoughts that can only come from connecting with what you love (or years of practice). Then just practice and experiment with carrying over the energy from the first question into the others.

Hello Alex

Thanks for your question- there is a part of us that when a question is asked- either directly or indirectly the process that I call Reflective articulation occurs- meaning that we reply to the question being ask anyway- the brain in its own unique way- generalizes- distorts and deletes  many thing out of our awareness-   Reflective articulation is one thing that gets deleted in many people unless they make a little effort to listen to the self answers- so when ever I read a question- its being worked on.

nice question by the way

Hi

I have been getting side tracked- with life stuff- yet will be on the case very soon- and will have the pod cast in a short time-

This is not the most piratical answer and you should not do this- yet chopping your head off- might be helpful- i cases like this-

A real quick answer in the mean time- is to do a mental rehearsal before you do any listening sessions- thin about being relaxed and have the voices and pictures in your head showing  and saying things that support your listening time- if you look at the thread following through- I have posted a patter there that might help with this very issue-

I'll keep you up dated of when I have the pod cast up and running
