Hi.
I have a coaching business and have concentrate my service to solve specific problem with NLP as a tool. Now I?m in for a renewal on packaging the coaching.
I now charge by the change but sometimes there is one problem and sometimes there are a few, and I still have teh same fee. I want to increase my fee because I get great results and my clients life change dramatic. I think I?m to cheap also. So my question how do you package youre service? By the hour, results, month, or?

Please give me some info how you work and if its works ok for you to charge that way.

Hi

if you want to charge by the hour- check out the phone book- and phone a number of coaches that are based in your area-- and pretend to be a client- and get them to quote you what they charge- after you have phoned say 6 different coaches- then you will have a rough guide for the enharmonic charge rate- for where you are based- from there you can work out what you want to charge per hour- and as coaching is often more than one session-  as there is a difference between coaching and intervention work- and the coat should reflect your skills and Time & effort-

So if your doing a One session Know holds bared- that needs to be set to a high rate-

with coaching as there is more than one session involved in most cases- what would you be willing to play a coach for 4/6/12 hours of coaching- and if you charged people that rate would that be enough for you to feel happy with-

Also do you have niche client base- or are your does open to anyone- if your working with business people then they will get their money back- many times over from the results you help them get- so you can charge much higher rates- for working with business people-

One thing you could consider is multiply your rates about 3 times what you charge-- and if you seem to be losing business- at that rate new rate inch off a small percentage till you start getting hits again- its a bit hit and miss- yet once you have a number of clients paying your new rates- then by the process of refusals- and discounts of future sessions- if they bring you paying clients- your are open to more and more opportunities-

If you getting good results- from your work you should be compensated for what you do-

Thanks Jay.
I alredy know wath the other coaches charge, from a 100 dollar to 350 an hour it depends on how well-known the are.
I get business people but the do not involve the company because they dont want to go to there boss and say "I need coaching because of my low self-esteem, or afraid to speak in public and so on. So i pump the steam up and they go out and change their lifes. I usally work with I client about 10 hours sometimes less sometimes more. And I charge in average 142 dollar if I split it in hours.

pretend to be a client

Or just be honest, and tell them you are researching pricing - most people in this field are only too happy to help.

Personally, I charge by the month.  I usually work with people for 6 months or more (I occasionally do 'one-offs' but I like the long term relationship.  To get some ideas on what you could be charging, talk to the people you've worked with and ask them how much it was worth to them (if they had no financial restraints at all).  You will probably be pleasantly surprised.

And ultimately...what's the figure that feels good to you?  On what format?  It doesn't matter what everyone else does - you do what works for you!

Thanks Donna.x
You charge by the month, but please give some examples of how you design that month for that client. Do you have some specific hours for that client, or?
I?m not use to the long term, but I suddently got other clients with dreams they want to fulfil. I was more in to loose a specific problem and "next please"  when I give them tools and help them to loose what stop them they are fulfiling it. Thats wen I notice I?m doing more then I think and so on.

In that month, they will have 2 pre-arranged coaching sessions plus all the e-mail support they need.

This works for me because they have time in between to practice what we've been talking about, and the support is there if they need it.
