Good morning Michael,

Richard got cut off right at the end of your programme, the adverts kicked in just as he was going to add something.... I will wait for the show to come up in the archive and see if its complete on there, it must have literally been the final 1-2 mins of the show.

Namaste

I may be able to shed a bit of light on this one, having been held up and missed the very start on the live show I tuned in to what I thought was the first repeat to hear what I missed the first time. I was obviousy in my own little time zone though as I was an hour late for that so caught the end again! Roll Eyes

The player that is used on the hayhouseradio site now has a short station ident and advert everytime it loads. At the end of each show before the next one it always (at least on my pc and for as long as I have been listening) has reloaded, now that there is the station ident it is just more obvious. For some reason that switch over took place a bit early last night on the live show, before the actual adverts where it normal takes place, which meant as a listener we couldn't hear part of your wrap up. On the second airing of the show the switch over took place in the adverts so I got to hear what was missed which would suggest that it's all recorded ok Smiley

Michelle, presuming that you lost the show at the same stage I did, Richard didn't actually say anymore but it seems to be  on the recording should you want to download it or catch one of the repeats. (just don't ask me to convert the time zones for you  Wink)

What I heard was great and I am now off to double check I've converted the next shows time correctly to actually hear the beginning this time.  Grin

At the risk of sounding like I'm making it up, the last thing Richard said was "If you haven't read Michael's books, go out and get them and read them!" - am teetering between devastated and bemused that that bit might have gotten cut off!   Shocked

I just signed up to the show yesterday and found it very interesting. When Richard talks about giving schizophrenics skills to control the thoughts after they have gotten over their problem it really chimed with me because I was saying something similar to a friend just the other day. I've been changing images in my mind for some time now and only really started on the auditory modality in earnest a little while ago.  My 'ARRRGGGGGHHHHHH!' has turned into 'mmmmmMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmm' and my exhausted feeling from the constant rabbiting has passed through 'SHUT THE **** UP!' to a 'shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh' like a wave retreating from the shore. When Alan Partridge or the Stotts tell me things aren't possible I have to control myself from bursting out laughing.

Just found this. Paul McKenna meets the Stotts.   Grin Grin Grin
