Is anyone else planning on going on the coaching mastery course with Michael in Spetember? I know it's early but i have to make lots of arrangements to make it happen for me!
Also interested in feedback from previous sessions. I'm already excited.
Do you know if there's an early bird discount or discount for posters on here Wink

I'll ask Chris Morris to drop by to comment as well - he's organizing the event...

See you there,

Hi Ladypol

I am fairly sure I'll be there this year, so do make sure you say hello if I don't immediately connect you with here.

I had the honour of assisting for the lovely group who came to Amsterdam on the Coaching Mastery course that ran last November. While we?re waiting for some of the other participants to find this thread I'll happily share  Grin.

I think one of the main things that stood out for me, is how congruent Michael's coaching style is with the actual course content. I'm sure Michael will have his own way of wording to describe what he does so do excuse my interpretation but, for when I see Michael coach one of the things that strikes me is his total belief in that persons value and uniqueness. Part of the dictionary definition of unique is "remarkable", which in turn has an explanation of "worth noticing and exceptional."  One of the things that I saw happening throughout the 2 days as Michael worked, were coaches beginning to notice for themselves, their own unique style and approach. There were several people I noticed realise, apparently for the first time, the worth and the value they were bringing to their clients.

Certainly from what I saw and experienced Coaching Mastery is far more then just a set of techniques and exercises (though they were there as well  Grin) and these go far beyond the basic's you'll find taught in some courses. Apart from increased flexibility and options that the exercises and perspectives gave in advanced coaching skills, there are practical strategies to put into action in the practice building parts - with an emphasis on fun.

Oh I probably shouldn't forget to mention the opportunity to not only see Michael work but also get the chance to ask him questions about what he is doing. One of the other things I enjoyed about the group was the wide range in backgrounds and experiences in the room. This only aided the learning from the actual exercises Michael had devised for us.

Personally I thought that Coaching Mastery provided far more value than courses I had been on that were much longer in length. That's value, not only as a coach but also to my clients.

Hope that helps,

Jen

Hey everyone!

Coaching Mastery is one of my favourite events to host because Michael packs so much into the two days - and he makes it so much fun too. You can read some of the feedback from last year at www.coachingmastery.co.uk, and you'll also find details about this year's event there too.

The normal price is ?495 + VAT but if you book before the end of May, you'll save both ?100 off the price and you'll save the VAT too - so that's a total payment of just ?395, all in. That includes your practice-building workbook and your membership to Michael's Solutions Cafe. It's a really good deal!

By the way, your Solutions Cafe membership starts as soon as you book and lasts until October 2009 - so that's another reason to book early. The earlier you book, the more free time you'll get to play in the Solutions Cafe. Smiley

If you have any questions, feel free to give me a call on 020 7107 9790.

All the best,

Chris

I attended the Coaching Mastery last year in Oct. Michael is a amazing tutor, his energy and style is relaxed yet exciting.
The Course was very informative, full of many useful tricks and tips which were explained at a very good level so it was never a case of feeling confused or having loads of questions. Having a small group meant everyone got to work with just about everyone, and you were never sat so far away from Michael that you felt you were losing contact with what he was teaching.
The group remained together for lunch which i also felt was a really good thing, then split up into a few smaller groups for the evening. The location was perfect. If felt like Chris & Michael had spent a lot of time working together to produce a very good mix.
Michael is by far one of the best teachers you can work with and Chris is very focused on ensuring everything else goes to plan. I feel that they are a great team at producing events and totally recommend attending courses facilitated by them.
As far as courses go, this has been one of the best courses that i have attended, and i praise Chris for being client focused over purse strings and Michael for what he does with huge carisma and style.
Anyone attending this course will walk away gaining something.

Hugs

I'll second that! I attended the course last year as well and I can definitely recommend it!

Michael is someone who knows how to keep your attention for a full day (well, several full days) and bring you totally "in the flow". You'll learn and practice a lot, while having a lot of fun as well. Plus you meet a lot of nice people too!
