Congratulations to the new President elect. I could feel the excitement, joy and overall optimism through the coverage on British tv.

I hope that this feeling of optimism and "Yes we can" continues and filters through to all areas of all countries.

I have been walking around this past week with an extra pep in my step and hope in my sight.

I am becoming grateful to George Bush's horrific reign...  if it were not for the last 8 years, America may not be as willing to change as freely.

(he is still not on my christmas card list, but... like I say... I am warming up.)
