Hello everybody,

lately whenever I was cruising the blocks in search of a parking place (inattentive me, not ordering one beforehand with cosmic ordering ;-) ) I found myself thinking of Michael's tip "Why is a Soulmate Like a Ski Boot?" and the question if in addition to that a soulmate might aswell be a little bit like a parking place.
That of course beeing a result of me beeing STAMS (the term I prefer to "single" and meaning " Still to acknowledge my Soulmate" ).
But back to my wonderings. So far everytime in the end I found a parking place, sometimes of course I had to walk a bit to where I really wanted to go, sometimes it was a real stress to get my car into that parking place (afterall I am a woman and my parking skills are a little less than perfect :-) )  but in the end I always found a parking place. A place I felt comfortable with where I knew my car could stay. So whatever seemed like a small catch (i.e. a little walk) in the end proved it was in fact a good option (i.e. using the walk to get some fresh air and listen to favourite music on ipod) and that the found parking space perfectly provided what I looked for "a parking place". So I came to wonder that maybe in the end it is inevitable that one finds one's soulmate as sure as one finds a parking place, that maybe what first seems like a little obstacle in creating a relationship with the found soulmate will prove to be a good option aswell.
And that of course I find a really relaxing and helpful thought. It sort of takes any anxiousness away because I know I've so far always found a parking place !! So no need to worry then :-)))

So here we go again. Anyone able to follow this line of thinking??

Have a nice day :-)

.

I was at my studio yesterday, doing some "projects" of fixing things up... tiding and installing shelves...etc.

ran across some cool old statements...

When we first built the studio we had friends come over and have a cleansing / intention setting ritual for the space... I asked each to bring a "statement" on a piece of paper... some thing that meant something to them...

the one that resonates with your post is this one...

> "eventually, we all get good at our own parking space."

it felt good...
because... to some extent... I have a long list of tasks I have to do at the studio... it gets a little overwhelming at times...
like it is sometimes hard to do actual work with the lingering thoughts of all that I still have on the list.

but, this studio is a parking space for me.
I won't be here forever...
it is just a parking space.
and I'm getting better at it.
happily.
