Great show (as always).
I wanted to recommend a book to the caller, Dreama, whose daughter is having gamma knife surgery on her brain soon. Dreama said she wasn't laughing a lot lately, and this book is might help. Its author, a cartoonist, endeavors to make brain surgery as much a laughing matter as possible.
It is called "I Had Brain Surgery, What's Your Excuse?", which you can find at Amazon (

I have not had any brain surgery (some might suggest it couldn't hurt), but I have experienced a life changing illness. I think this book has much to offer in terms of emotional support. A favorable review in the New York Times Book Review is what prompted me to pick it up. At the Amazon link, there are reviews from readers, some good some bad, mostly favorable.
Just a caution: this is more a book about learning life lessons from a traumatic illness than it is out and out laughs.
